For Immediate Release
The FirstNet Association (FNA) has announced their second event scheduled for November 14, 2018 in Denver, Colorado.
Las Vegas, NV— November 1, 2018 — The event will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Denver Tech Center | 7801 E Orchard Rd, Greenwood Village, Denver, Colorado 80111. It is free to FirstNet Association members and $95.00 for non-members, however, a 1 year membership is included in the cost.
“Our inaugural FirstNet regional forum in Minneapolis was an overwhelming success as evidenced by attendance, participation by the first responders there, and the interest shown by the questions presented. This same enthusiasm continued during the breaks and lunch with spirited discussions about FirstNet and it’s implementation,” said Ray Flynn, FNA Vice President.
“We look forward to our second regional event, and for the opportunity to educate today’s first responders in and around Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas and New Mexico about this unique public-private partnership that will drive growth and innovation in the public safety communications space,” said Al Gillespie, President of FNA.
The event will cover many topics including a “101” on the First Responder Network Authority, FirstNet Built with AT&T and the relationship between the two entities. “We are aware many first line first responders have questions as to the difference between these two groups and how one compliments the other” offered Ray Flynn, FNA Vice President. Another session will explain LMR to LTE integration, another widely discussed and debated topic in public safety circles.
FirstNet Association officials are quick to add that this is the second in a series of events they have planned for 2018 and 2019. Future locations and dates have not yet been announced, however, they will be listed on the FirstNet Association website FirstNetAssociation.org as well as on AllThingsFirstNet.com.
