FirstNet Authority Receives Another “Clean” Audit Opinion for FY18 Financials

For the sixth consecutive year, the First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet Authority) has received an unmodified, or “clean,” audit opinion on its financial statements.

 Achievement of a clean audit opinion for Fiscal Year 2018 continues the trend of zero material weaknesses and zero significant deficiencies related to this audit.  Furthermore, no management level control deficiencies were identified.

These consistently clean audit opinions reflect the dedication of the FirstNet Authority’s financial team, which works diligently to apply policies and procedures that continuously strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.
