Allerio Mobile Hub Now FirstNet Ready™ to Bring Reliable Communications Solutions to First Responders

FirstNet Ready™ device aids first responders in the field with a reliable, uninterrupted, and secure connection

DULUTH, MINN.  JULY 14, 2020

Allerio today announced that its Allerio Mobile Hub solution has been approved as FirstNet Ready™ and ready for use on FirstNet®. Allerio is a portable connectivity platform that optimizes cellular connectivity, enabling first responders in the field to reliably record, share, and transmit critical patient and other broadband data quickly at the point of care and in transit.

FirstNet is built with AT&T in a public-private partnership with the First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet Authority), which is an independent agency within the federal government. It’s designed with and for public safety.

The FirstNet Ready™ Allerio Mobile Hub supports access to the physically separate and dedicated FirstNet network core, which enables FirstNet’s First Priority® capabilities – always-on priority and preemption for first responders. First responders can feel confident the Allerio Mobile Hub meets the highest standards for reliability, security and performance.

“We are excited to add the Allerio solution to the FirstNet ecosystem, which enables two-way telemedicine and rich data-sharing among first responders in the field and hospitals,” said Brenda Kittila, Vice President, FirstNet Operations at AT&T.

“First responders are seeking ways to treat patients with a robust connection at the point of care without the limitations of vehicle-mounted solutions. This connected platform will radically transform how first responders utilize telemedicine,” said TJ Kennedy, CEO, Allerio. “We’re proud to have reached this important milestone in the commercial deployment of the Allerio Mobile Hub.”

The Allerio Mobile Hub embedded with FirstNet connectivity will give first responders access to benefits of the nationwide FirstNet public safety network, including end to end encryption. Combining FirstNet with the Allerio Mobile Hub will transform care in the field with the single push of a button to reliably connect and quickly share rich patient and other broadband data.

“The Allerio connectivity solution, which has been validated by public safety in the field, is changing the way first responders save lives, facilitating the use of telemedicine for faster patient interventions and community paramedicine, bridging the gap between first responders in the field and the hospital with the transfer of near real-time patient video and data,” shares Jason Karp, Corporate Development Officer, Allerio.

The Allerio Mobile Hub platform, including connectivity, is now available “as a service” for a monthly fee. To learn more about Allerio visit Allerio.com. For more on FirstNet, check out FirstNet.com.
