AT&T this week announced the completion of its commercial network being upgraded to 5G Standalone (5G SA) technology, but the carrier giant clarified that this does not yet apply to FirstNet—the nationwide public-safety broadband network (NPSBN) that AT&T builds and operates under a contract with the FirstNet Authority.
